Strange translation

I think it strange that there are many
Japanese translations that are written
in vertical derection.
It would be no problem if they don’t
have any quotation written in English.
But mostly they have some quotations
which are written horizontally.
whenever I read those kind of translations，
I get nervous and confusion.
When I come across quotations，
I have to change the book angle all the way.
The more frequent I meet quotations，
the more panic I am.
I wonder if the writer have ever
thought about it.
